Automatic deletion via Meta

If you connected Instagram to Babbler Chat through Meta authorization, you can revoke the app’s access in your Instagram or Facebook settings. Meta will then automatically send us a request to delete your data.

1. Open your Instagram apps and websites settings or Facebook apps settings.
2. Find the Babbler Chat app and remove its access.
3. Meta will forward a deletion request to us. We delete access tokens, identifiers, and associated personal data.
4. After processing, you receive a confirmation code to check the status on this page.

Manual deletion request

You can also request deletion manually by writing to us from the email address linked to your Babbler Chat account, or by providing your Instagram ID:

support@babbler.chat

We process the request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

What gets deleted

• OAuth tokens and Instagram identifiers stored when the channel was connected.
• The Instagram username and the contact’s profile data.
• The content of inbound Instagram messages you sent via Direct (the text is replaced with a deletion notice).

Aggregated analytics and anonymized data that cannot identify you may be retained.
